Emissions Reduction

Ultra low NOx burners for plants that need lower emissions without losing operating stability.

Low NOx projects become more valuable when emission reduction comes together with a stronger control strategy and a realistic retrofit path.

When it starts

Licensing pressure and modernization needs

Low NOx projects usually begin when the plant must update emissions, technology or safety governance.

How it wins

Emission reduction plus better control

The commercial case is stronger when lower NOx is combined with visibility, repeatability and lower operational risk.

UNNOX: Low NOx through internal recirculation

Internal recirculation and Hollow Flame
The combustion-head design aerodynamically induces internal recirculation of combustion gases. This recirculation helps reduce peak flame temperatures and thermal NOx formation.
Application-specific FGR
External recirculation returns part of the flue gas to the system. Its use depends on the burner version, furnace and emission target.
Performance conditions
Furnace geometry and temperature, fuel composition, load and air temperature affect emissions. The limit and oxygen reference must be defined in the project specification.
